Tiny Winter Wedding in Austria
When I spoke to them for the first time, there were only four months to go until the desired wedding date. No date, no location, no plan - but a lot of desire for a winter wedding in the mountains. A tiny wedding with no fuss, no 100 guests, just the most important people by their side. As their wedding planner, I was able to accompany them on the way to their small but incredibly atmospheric mountain wedding - and that's how it came about: this small, beautiful February wedding that will stay in our hearts for a long time to come.
Winter wedding: Getting ready - a relaxed start to the wedding day
The day started really quietly. The bride was in the room with her sister and her little niece - a relaxed group of girls who laughed, styled and simply enjoyed the moment. The stylist was there and everything went really smoothly. Of course there was a bit of excitement, but in a nice way - it's getting real!
The groom was in another room with his best man - without any fuss: shirt on, shoes tied, taking a deep breath in between. Each on their own, but both with that quiet grin that says: Today's the day.
One of my favourite moments: the bride's first look with her parents. Without a big stage, simply in the hotel room - but that's exactly what made it so special.
The couple deliberately decided against a first look before the wedding ceremony and wanted to experience this special moment in the church during the entrance. So we planned it exactly the same way. She travelled to the church in her own shuttle after the guests, he travelled with the guests. It worked really well, was totally relaxed - and exactly how they had imagined it.
Church wedding in Untermieming - emotional & personal
The couple chose the parish church in Untermieming for their wedding ceremony - festive, quiet, without having to change much. They weren't interested in big decorations or a special concept, but in a ceremony that felt genuine and special. The couple made a conscious decision not to use floral decorations and instead worked with candles - along the benches, simple but effective and cosy. Especially in winter, the warm light creates a beautiful atmosphere without pushing itself into the foreground.
The music was chosen by the bride and groom themselves - modern, calm songs that had a personal meaning for the couple and made the ceremony even more emotional.
Tiny Wedding: Winter champagne reception at the Stöttlalm
After saying "I do", the bride and groom travelled to the alpine pasture in their own car - a few quiet minutes for two. We took the guests to the Stöttlalm in shuttles, everything was well planned, but without any hectic rush and relaxed for everyone. The reception was already prepared at the lake below the Stöttlalm - with mulled wine, an aperitif, small snacks and a wonderful view of the mountain panorama. Snow, clear air, the mountains - and in the middle of it all, this small, cosy mountain wedding.
The bride and groom retreated for a short shoot to capture a few quiet moments in the snow - just the two of them, before moving on to the next part of the programme.
Winter wedding with a mountain panorama: dinner, wedding cake & party in the snow
Inside, the long table was already waiting - set in warm colours, with lots of candlelight and many small details that together created a harmonious overall picture. The floral decorations were lavish, but not too much: cream, rosé, white and fir green, plus cloth napkins, menu and name cards, all perfectly coordinated - for a lot of cosiness, just as the couple had wished.
The wedding cake was anything but a quiet part of the programme - it was a real highlight of the evening. Two tiers, decorated with fresh flowers and gold leaf, plus fountains and the bride and groom's favourite music.
After the opening dance, it was party mode ON!
Wedding planning Tiny Wedding in the mountains: How four months of planning turned into a perfect wedding day
The couple started with a clear idea: a tiny wedding in the mountains in winter, small, personal - and above all relaxed. The whole thing with only four months of planning time and over 700 kilometres to the dream location in Austria. It was clear from the start that this could work - but only with structured planning and support that kept an eye on everything.
There were many interfaces between the church, shuttle, mountain pasture and evening programme that had to be well coordinated. Especially for a winter wedding in the mountains, where weather, lighting conditions and logistics play an even greater role. We worked together on the complete planning of their Tiny Wedding - from the initial idea to the finalised schedule. And on the wedding day itself, everything continued quietly in the background for the bride and groom, with me on site as Wedding Day Manager. The couple were able to celebrate their mountain wedding, enjoy it, just be there - without having to worry about anything.

Review - D & C about their wedding in the snow
Thanks to Ronja we had our absolute dream wedding in February! We booked the complete package and had her by our side on our big day - and it was the Best decisionthat we were able to meet.
She has the The impossible made possibleShe planned our wedding with us in just four months (and that's not something to be taken for granted when you consider that you have to start planning early). She did most of the work for us so that we could only make the final decisions had to.
We were particularly impressed by her great network. All the service providers she recommended to us were absolutely reliable and realised exactly what we had in mind and in some cases even exceeded our expectations. We were able to rely completely on everything running smoothly.
Ronja stood always at your side with her friendly, helpful manner and her incredible calmness, especially on the day of the wedding. We were able to 100 % rely on them and concentrate fully on the essentialsenjoy the moment.
